As a CFA Registered Maine Coon cattery, we ONLY breed CFA registered cats. We do not breed unregistered cats. A reputable breeder will never place for adoption a kitten that is not registered with a recognized cat association. All kittens produced will be registerable through the Cat Fanciers’ Association.
Once proof of alter has been provided, we will release the CFA registration paperwork.
What is CFA (the Cat Fanciers’ Association)
The Cat Fanciers’ Association was established in the United States in 1906. The CFA is currently the world’s largest registry of pedigreed cats. Originally CFA was located in New Jersey but has since moved to Ohio.
The association’s states mission is preserving and promoting pedigreed breeds of cats while also enhancing the well-being of all cats. CFa’s first licensed cat shows were held in Buffalo, New York and Detroit, Michigan in 1906.
What does it mean if a cat is CFA Registered?
